Here is a little used technique you can implement to build your mailing list for no additional cost. I call it “using subscribers to make subscribers” like much in the context of “using money to make money”.
This simple list building formula can be summed up in two words: ad swap.
Generally, you trade advertisements with other eZine publishers, preferably of the same mailing list size or bigger. You broadcast the eZine publisher’s advertisement to your mailing list while the eZine publisher endorses your ad to his list. Yes, you are actually cross endorsing or cross promoting each others offer to each of your mailing list.
Your advertisement’s goal should be to get as many subscribers possible from the other eZine publisher’s mailing list to sign up for yours.
The result: you grow your mailing list. This method does not require money, which means it can be done for free. And the return of subscribers? Infinite!
You only have to do this with one eZine publisher at least once, because his subscribers who are also your subscribers can now be followed up within the boundaries of your mailing list.
Perform ad swaps with as many eZine publishers as possible and soon, you will have a huge mailing list of your own – built free.
We all love to go to the movie theater to relax after a long day of work. Even if you need to tide traffics jams to go to the movie theater, you are willing to endure this to be able to watch a movie. The sight and sound of a movie theater is what makes us go back there every so often. We easily get lost in the movie scene because of the bigger than life pictures and surround sound that takes you there beside the characters in the movie. This may prove to be costly in the end but we continue to do this because we love to go to movie theaters and see movies. If you can bring home a movie theater, it will be good and I am sure you will love the idea. However, before you say no, think again. Going to the movie theaters every single day is definitely costly in the long run. Additionally, if you know the basic components of a home movie theater, you may not think twice and will definitely leave right now to acquire your own home movie theater.
A complete setup of a movie theater in a big room is definitely only accessible to the rich and the famous. However, if you have meager budget, you can have the home movie theater for yourself knowing the basic components and setting up the home movie theater in a smaller room. You may convert you den to a home theater room. You only need the three basic components and you may already enjoy watching movies with no limit.
If you have a television set, which I know you do, that is about 27 inches, you run away spending for the first major component of your home movie theater. The second major component, which I think you have, is the DVD player. If your DVD Player has progressive scan that is wonderful, however, even without progressive scan, your DVD player may work as the second component for your home movie theater. The final piece of the puzzle, which I want you to spend on, is the home theater speakers. You need three high-quality home theater speakers for your home movie theater. You need to place one on the right side, one on the left side and one on the rear center of the room. These are the three basic components of your home movie theater. You may now start enjoying unlimited movie and enjoy watching movies with your whole family. I am sure you will agree with me that this is the best part of owning your own home movie theater.
The set up for your home movie theater with the three basic components is the best perfect setup for small rooms. However, if you have a bigger room for your home movie theater, I am sure you have a bigger budget for your home theater. Then you may want to consider the recommendation of home theater experts, you may add more speakers up to six home theater speakers and may need to compliment it with subwoofer to maintain the surround sound effect for your home movie theater. If you want a bigger picture, you may want to consider buying a home theater projector. You may also acquire home theater seating and television cabinet if you want to compliment the home theater design to make up a complete package for your home entertainment. All these additions to the basic components may be necessary if you have a bigger room. If the room is smaller, then you may only need the three basic components for your home movie theater.
Having to be able to bring home the sight and sound you run after in movie theaters may be very efficient and less costly. Aside form the fact that you enjoy life with your family beside you watching movies after movies in your very own home movie theater.
Many people feel that photo blogging is the most exciting kind of blogging that exists. Building and maintaining a photo blog is no more difficult than creating and updating a text-based blog, and many people feel that the internet’s high speed, full-color technology reaches the pinnacle of its appeal with the transmission of images. Posting photographs in a blog format on a daily, weekly, or occasional basis is a great way to express yourself while reaching viewers in an emotionally charged and aesthetically engaging way, and surfing photo blogs can help you to get a whole new perspective on the world in which we live.
Many people who run image blogs are photographers by trade, but photo blogging is also very popular among hobbyists and amateur shutterbugs. To be certain, a lot of the most popular photo blogs have gained attention because the pictures on them are of the highest artistic caliber, and a lot of the people who run these striking blogs are graduates of prestigious art schools and have impressive professional portfolios. However, some of the most well known and most often visited photo blogs are as notable for their concepts as for the pictures themselves. Certain photo blogs, like the popular “Cute Overload” which features picture after picture of adorable animals, are more about the thematic content of the pictures than they are about the style in which the snapshots are taken.
The fact that photo blogs range from forums to display the work of highly skilled artisans to playful collections of curiosities shows that photo blogging is a truly diverse form. The fact that photo blogs are so easy to build and to update makes this kind of visual communication very democratic, and enables people at all skill levels to become a part of the global conversation about the nature and value of photography today.
Whether you are an artist or hobbyist who wants to create a photo blog, or whether you are just somebody who enjoys learning about new places and things, spending some time looking at the most popular photography blogs on the internet can be a very rewarding endeavor. You can travel to another place or another time by seeing pictures of faraway locations and long-gone eras. You can see your own neighborhood with fresh eyes by discover how local artists have photographed the town or city in which you live. Photo blogging allows people to communicate all of these things and more, which makes it a very exciting part of the modern blogosphere. If the best thing about web technology is that it allows people to reach each other in a very personal way from across great distances, then in many ways photo blogs are the most successful kind of web sites.
For millions of parents around the world, the day does not end with the school bell. There are still pictures to be painted, songs to be sung and games to be played. This all adds up to keeping children happy, safe and out of trouble. But, parents have to steer away from going overboard.
After school is not baby-sitting:
After school activities thrive only if it is backed by sufficient parental involvement. What would a soccer match be without parents cheering their little heroes from the sidelines?.
Research and choose:
Instead of convenience being the decisive factor, find out things that will interest your child. Once you select a program, get the fine print and find out what you have to contribute.
Many children attend piano classes, followed by ballet and squeeze in some time for play dates in between just before they rush home in time for bed. This rigor is too much for a child. So, go slow.
When to quit:
Often, parents enroll their child in an activity to discover that he may not be the prodigy they thought he would be. This is the time to let go. Your child may not become the next wonder-kid. But, let him cultivate an interest that he enjoys. Remember, happiness and fulfillment are all that matter.
If you have crooked teeth it can be an embarrassing problem. You may find yourself never wanting to smile when being photographed, or dream of flashing a dazzling grin at parties, then it could be time to seek help. There are a number of options to correct crooked teeth and to give you the confidence in your smile that you deserve. Solutions range from traditional braces and caps, to modern techniques such as Invisalign and the Inman Aligner.
You can improve your mouth without actually moving the position of your teeth. A veneer is a cover permanently attached to the front of your tooth, this cover can make your teeth look straighter and also improve the colour. Fitting porcelain veneers is probably the quickest way to get a winning smile, however the speed of the change does come with some disadvantages. To fix the veneers, firstly a section from the front of your tooth is removed so the veneer can be attached to it. Loosing a part of the natural structure of your tooth is the price to pay for this almost instant fix. This method does not straighten your actual teeth, the ultra thin veneers just give the appearance of a healthy smile by covering your existing teeth.
A cap or crown is another method of altering the appearance of your teeth that gives a rapid improvement without the inconvenience of braces. Caps are used to improve the look of your mouth or to repair any damage, they work by completely covering all of the tooth with a protective shell, right down to the gum line. Caps are available in a wide range of materials, from resin to porcelain or even gold. Each cap is individually manufactured to give a good colour match to the rest of your teeth.
Whereas caps and veneers do not actually straighten your natural teeth, braces offer a less invasive solution that changes the position and orientation of your teeth gradually over time, giving you the smile that you want. Braces use brackets and tensioned wires to slowly move your teeth into their new position. The treatment time is however, much longer than caps or veneers. It can be up to 2 years and includes regular trips to the dentist for adjustments. The best time for braces to be fitted is in the early teens, although they are now becoming popular with adults.
The type of brace fitted does depend on the exact treatment required. For modest tooth movements, removable braces can be used. These consist of a plastic plate that fits to the roof of the mouth, wires from the plate clip onto the teeth that need to be adjusted, gently moving them into place over time. Removable braces can be taken out for eating and brushing or if they become uncomfortable. If a greater range of tooth movement is needed, then fixed braces are likely to be fitted. In contrast to the removable brace, fixed braces are permantly attached to your teeth for the duration of the treatment. A plastic bracket is glued to the front of each tooth and joined to the neighbouring tooth by wires. Regular trips to the dentist are needed to check progress and to make any necessary alterations to the brace.
Both fixed and removable braces can be uncomfortable and unsightly, if you have decided to have treatment for cosmetic purposes then this is likely to be off putting. Recent advancements in cosmetic dentistry have now created solutions to the visible impact of traditional braces. Clear braces offer the same results as traditional methods but are far more discreet when they are being worn. Invisalign offer a clear, removable sheath as an alternative to braces that is almost undetectable when in the mouth. The Invisalign system works by firstly taking an impression or 3D scan of your mouth. The data obtained from this is used to create a treatment plan consisting of a series of clear aligners that you change at home every two weeks. Invisalign can produce results as good as those of metal braces but with minimal cosmetic impact during the course of the treatment. The timescale for Invisalign to produce results is similar to that of regular braces, they are just much better looking.
Slightly more visible, but still less so than fixed braces, is the Inman Aligner. Although it is more noticeable than the Invisalign system, it does cut treatment time and produce faster results. It is used primarily for the front teeth and works by using springs to power a pair of aligner bows, one covering the front and one covering the rear of the teeth. The inner bow pushes forward while the outer bow pushes back against it. The double action created by applying pressure on both sides of the teeth dramatically cuts the time of the treatment. Whereas traditional braces can take up to two years, the Inman Aligner can get the same results in 6-18 weeks.
Get the smile you want using the latest technology and you will never have to worry about smiling again.
Writing an article doesn’t just mean putting down thoughts into words then typing and writing it. You have to capture the interest of your readers and get them to keep on reading. To send your message across you have to get the attention of the reader and have a firm grasp of their interest and pique their curiosity.
The main ingredient in baking up an article is a large dose of creativity. While creativity may come natural to many people, some just gets into a block or something to that effect that can drive someone crazy. Many writers have literally torn their hair out when they get writers block and just can’t seem to get their creative juices flowing.
Putting words into images in the readers mind is an art. A clear and crisp depiction requires a certain flair that only creativity can provide. Similes and metaphors help a lot, but the way an article gets entwined word for word, sentence by sentence then paragraph by paragraph into a whole article develops the essence of the article.
So just what do you have to do when nothing comes to mind? There is no surefire ways to get the perfect ideas but there are easy ways to get your creative juices flowing. No one can guarantee you of having the perfect mindset but many methods may aid you in achieving that state of mind. Here are five easy ways for that.
1) Keep a diary or a journal with you always. Ideas can be triggered by anything you may hear, see, or smell. Your senses are your radar in finding great ideas. Write all of them into a journal and keep it with you for future reference. You may also write down anything that you have read or heard, someone’s ideas could be used to develop your own ideas and this is not stealing. Remember that ideas and creativity can come from anywhere; it’s the development of the idea that makes it unique.
2) Relax and take time to sort things out. A jumbled mind cannot create any space for new ideas. Everyone must have a clear mind if one wishes to have their creativity in full speed. Get rid of all obstacles that can be a hindrance to your creativity. If you are bothered by something, you cannot force your mind to stay focused.
Try to relax every time that you can and think about your experiences and interactions with others. Your experiences are what shape your mindset and your opinions which could be reflected on your writings. Try to discover yourself, find out what triggers your emotions. Discover what inspires you and what ticks you off. You can use these emotions to help you in expressing yourself and your ideas, with this you can grow creatively.
3) Create a working place that can inspire your creativeness. Your working place can be quite a hindrance if it doesn’t make you feel happy or relaxed. Creativity comes from being in a good state of mind and a messed up workplace that causes distraction won’t be conducive in firing up your creative flow.
Surround your working place with objects that makes you happy and relaxed. You may put up pictures, or scents, objects that inspire, or anything that can get your creativeness cranking. A clean and well organized workplace also rids of distractions and unwanted hindrances. With a good working place, you can work in peace and never notice the time pass by.
4) Set the mood. Setting the mood requires you to just go with the moment or to induce your self to feeling what makes your mind works best. Finding out what makes you tick could help you find ways to get your creative juices flowing. Set the pace and tempo for your mood and everything else will follow.
There are many ways to set the mood. Some writers have been known to use alcohol, a little sip of wine to stir up the imagination. Some would like some mood music while others let the lighting of the environment create the mood.
5) Go on a getaway and just do something unlike crazy. Letting yourself go and have fun produces adrenaline that can make your imagination go wild. Take an adventure or a solemn hike. Whatever it is that is unusual from your daily routine can take the rut out of your schedule. In no time at all, your creativeness will make use of that experience and get your imagination to go on overdrive.
There are two major types of business models that entrepreneurs use to make money blogging. The first and most common way to turn a blog into a profit making machine is to sell advertising to different companies and brands who want to reach that blog’s readers. The second kind of money making blog is one that helps a single brand improve its image by creating positive associations between the blog and the product in the mind of consumers. Both kinds of blogs can make a lot of money, especially if the creator has a keen mind for marketing.
If you are blogging with the goal of selling advertising, there are two basic ways that you can go about recruiting sponsors who want to put ads on your site; you can let someone else do all of the legwork, or you can do the work yourself and keep all of the revenue. Within the first group, many people make money blogging by selling space through Google’s AdSense program. The advantages of this program are numerous, as it requires very little effort on the part of the blogger or webmaster to begin raking in profits. However, most people discover that they make less money through this method than they had hoped that their blog would earn.
Selling advertising directly to companies who want to put banner ads or sponsored links on your blog can take quite a bit of time, but it is often fairly lucrative. If you have a lot of contacts in industries that are related to the topic of your blog, you may want to try to go this route. People who have a strong background in sales and are experienced at pitching proposals can make quite a bit of money by renting blog space to interested companies. The most serious problem with this model is that you often have to build quite a sizable readership before you can attract advertisers, which can mean that you have to do several months of work before you start to make money blogging.
As blogging becomes a more and more lucrative business, a lot of established companies are considering how they can get into the action. One way that companies are capitalizing on the blog movement is by having blogs that provide a kind of friendly face for their corporation. Often, a company will employ an established blogger to create a weblog designed specifically to appeal to that company’s customers and to create positive associations with the brand in consumers’ minds. More than one writer who never even dreamed that he or she could make money blogging has been approached by a company and offered quite a pretty penny for this kind of gig.
We all want our children to go the best primary schools and we all want them to have the best education. But what makes some better than others, and what are the common similarities between the best schools? We have come up with a list of the top 5 features of the best local schools to make your decision on where to send your child that much easier.
1. OFSTED report – The best primaries have the best OFSTED ratings. Of course they do! This may seem obvious, but it’s a good place to start when measuring the varying quality of schools. OFSTED rate schools from 1 (Outstanding) to 4 (Needs Improvement), the best primary schools obviously sit at the top of this scale.
2. Teaching – the best schools have the best teachers. This is a bit self-fulfilling in reality, because the best primary school teachers are attracted to the best primary schools, which in turn makes the schools themselves better. You may know of local schools which have good or bad reputations, and these reputations tend to stick, mainly because of this very thing. Moreover, the teachers at the best primary schools are less inclined to leave their post as the chances of them finding a better job are slim. So, if you find a school near you with a lot of long standing teachers, chances are the school is a good one.
3. Facilities – the best primaries have the best facilities. When we look at the facilities of local schools, there are a lot of different things which we can consider, and not all of it is important to everyone. Think about the sports facilities, the catering facilities, and the buildings. Generally these are the three biggest considerations people think about when they search for a school. The best primary schools always have the best facilities to work with.
4. Location & Transport – location is a massive factor in your decision, but the best primaries usually have the best transport links. It isn’t much use choosing a school with no bus stop within 2 miles if you are going to need to use a bus to get there. Rural primary schools will not always have good transport links, but this doesn’t mean they aren’t good schools. The local roads and transport are not their fault. In urban areas, however, the best pupils and the best teachers will be attracted to the schools with the best transport links. So if you are looking for primary schools in urban areas, remember the best ones will have the best transport.
5. After school care – last on our list, the best schools will usually have the best clubs. If you need your child caring for after the 3 – 3.30 closing time of most primary schools then you will need to consider before and after care. Generally, these are held at the schools, at a local nursery/play centre, or not at all. The best primary schools host their own breakfast and after school clubs giving you confidence that you child is going to be in the safest possible hands.
Every parent looking to send their child to school for the first time needs to consider the relative qualities of different educational establishment and how they relate to their own circumstances and the needs of their child. All schools are different, but the best primary schools all have a few things in common. Be sure to consider these things so you make the best choice for your child.
Organic gardening is the way of growing vegetables and fruits with the use of things only found in nature.
Why would one want to indulge in organic gardening?
1. One can easily make compost from garden and kitchen waste. Though this is a bit more time-consuming than buying prepared chemical pesticides and fertilizers, it certainly helps to put garbage to good use and so saves the environment.
2. Organic farming does not use chemicals that may have an adverse affect on your health. This is especially important when growing vegetables. Chemical companies tell us that the chemicals we use are safe if used according to direction, but research shows that even tiny amounts of poisons absorbed through the skin can cause such things as cancer, especially in children.
On the average, a child ingests four to five times more cancer-causing pesticides from foods than an adult. This can lead to various diseases later on in the child’s life. With organic gardening, these incidents are lessened.
Remember, pesticides contain toxins that have only one purpose – to kill living things.
3. Less harm to the environment. Poisons are often washed into our waterways, causing death to the native fish and polluting their habitat.
4. Organic farming practices help prevent the loss of topsoil through erosion.
The Soil Conservation Service says that an estimated 30 – 32 billion tons of soil erodes from United States farmlands every year.
4. Cost savings. One does not need to buy costly chemical fertilizers and pesticides with organic gardening. Many organic recipes for the control of pest and disease come straight from the kitchen cupboard. Sometimes other plants can be grown as companions to the main crop. An example of this is the marigold, which helps to repel aphids from vegetables.
Mixing 1 tablespoon of liquid dishwashing soap and 1 cup of cooking oil can make a cheap garden pest spray. Put 3 tablespoons of this mixture in 1 quart of water and spray on plants.
5. A simple mulch of pine needles will help to suppress the growth of weeds as well as keeping the moisture in.
6. Organic gardening practices help to keep the environment safe for future generations.
Thanks for opening your heart to an eternal experiences. It can seem like a battle and a swinging back and forth in emotions until all investment has been withdrawn from the ego. The ego is a decision, and as long as this decision has even the least bit of value or allure, the flip-flopping between love and fear, sanity and insanity seems to persist in awareness. Realize that the ego is constantly being undone or unraveled, and the ego interprets its undoing as fearful.
You, however, are not being undone—for You are Pure Love, Pure Spirit. The ego seems to resist the approach of Light, as if the Light was its death. Yet the ego is the investment in death, and once the clouds of fear have been passed through, there You are: the Oneness of Pure Love! To stay in Love, so to speak, requires only the growing willingness to not hide or protect any fearful thoughts which arise in consciousness.
Let the fear arise, for it has long been kept out of awareness and must arise, that it may be released forever. The ego wants to offer the bait of a “battle” because that is how it perpetuates the illusion of conflict and fear. Yet there is nothing to fight and only an illusion to forgive or look past. Our Spirit is beyond the possibility of a “battle,” for our Oneness and Love rest in the Heart of God.
Truth does not fight against illusion, illusions only seem to battle with illusions. Our Identity in God is no illusion, and Reality needs no defense. With faith all scraps of fear rise into awareness and are looked upon with the Holy Spirit and seen for their nothingness.
In Awakening, the split mind, or the mind which tries to serve two masters, comes up into awareness. As this occurs, it can feel as if one has a “split personality” of love and fear. Divine Love transcends the illusory aspects of the self-concept, the ego-image that was made to cover over and substitute for the Real Love deep within.
The “good” aspects of the mask, or persona, are as illusory as the “fearful” aspects, for illusions are but one error: the belief that God’s Love can have an “opposite.” God and Christ are “unopposed” for Love has no “enemy” or “opposition.” Be grateful, therefore, when the illusion of fear seems to rise into awareness, and do not attempt to “battle” or “repress” or “distract away from” the fear.
See that the fear which had been denied from awareness, the fear that seemed to block the Light of Love, is presenting itself again so it may be forgiven forever. Look at the fear with the Holy Spirit and see the nothingness of the fear. Correctly perceived, fear is a Call for Love, and as this is acknowledged you are Answered in Love. Love is knocking at the door of consciousness, asking that all self-imposed barriers to the remembrance of God be released.
Be happy that the Awakening is occurring through your willingness and readiness, for nothing more is asked of you. Fear has run out of time and has nowhere to hide. Fear used time to conceal the wish to separate, yet under the Holy Spirit’s direction time is neutralized and used for miracles that collapse time and show its meaninglessness.
The unconscious was the belief in fear. Fear made the dream of the world seem real. As unconscious belief is raised to the Light and disappears, the experience which remains is being fully conscious, alert, and aware of dreaming a happy dream of non-judgment.
This is the Perspective of the Holy Spirit, and awareness of dreaming means you are no longer “at the mercy” of dream figures or dreams of any kind. You are having the dream… the dream is not having you. You are having the dream and there is nothing “outside” one whole mind illuminated by the Light of the Holy Spirit.
A happy dream has come to take the place of the dream of judgment, and so the fear has gone and never was. The mirror of mind is clean and clear and reflects the Light of God for there is nothing to block the Pure Love of Heaven.
I love You forever and ever Precious One, for You are my Self. Our strength is the Love within, and this world can offer nothing to delay the Awakening to Pure Love. I rejoice in our Oneness! All Glory to God for creating All as Pure Oneness and Love!
